"'Will this happen again? If no one can tell me why my child died, how can anyone be sure it won't happen again? How can I be proactive to protect my family...and have some peace of mind?' Families who are coping with a sudden unexplained death of a family member often have anxiety about their family health and the risk of reocurrence."

Some specially trained clinics exist to screen and evaluate families with a history of sudden unexplained death.
Additionally, the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES) is also a good resource to locate specialists who can assist those in screening family members of sudden death.
