Others points to help you personalize:

  • The SUDC Foundation supports over 1000 families in 18 countries and cultivates a community of support for bereaved families so no one grieves alone.
  • The SUDC Foundation helps families navigate the difficult and confusing investigation into their child’s death and assists in accessing research and DNA services which could lead to answers on what may have happened to their child.
  • The SUDC Foundation provides grants for research that will further our understanding of the causes and ways to prevent SUDC.
  • SUDC is the fifth leading category of death in children ages one to four, yet SUDC receives no public funding.
  • The SUDC Foundation provides all services at no cost to the people we serve. These services are made possible by valued supporters like you.

How the Foundation Receives Donations from Facebook

After a donor makes a donation to Facebook, they will receive an email confirmation to the primary email listed on their Facebook account.

The email receipt includes language for the donor indicating that they made their donation as a charitable contribution and that they are not receiving any goods or services in return. As tax laws vary by state and by country, donors are asked to consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of their donation.

Facebook processes donations they receive biweekly and then send the SUDC Foundation payment. For donors who may have misplaced their tax receipt, they can request them directly from Facebook using the link here.

Our efforts to raise awareness wouldn't be possible without the inspiration and enthusiasm of the SUDC community.
