Even at a young age, Junie knew exactly who she was. This was clear when she insisted on being Santa Claus for Halloween, hitting the high notes in “Wrecking Ball” or insisting that “Hey Jude” was actually, “Hey Junie.”
We remember Junie for her joy, silliness, and deep care for her family and friends. She was struck by others’ pain and worked hard to console them and make them “appy.”
