Eli Roman Lopez

Eli Roman Lopez entered this world on September 3, 2020 to parents Mark and Melissa and older brother MJ. The moment he came we knew our family was complete.

Eli was a source of light, he loved music, reading books and playing with his toys. He was an early riser waking his family up at 5am full of laughter and giant smiles. He was a cautious soul and loved to feel safe in his families arms.

At 5 weeks old he became a warrior, he had an undiagnosed congenital heart disease and was sent to the hospital in heart failure. The doctors told us he wasn’t going to make it, but he defied the odds and came home to us one month later.

We enjoyed our sweet boy for a total of 14 months and each and every one was filled with so much love. Eli suddenly passed away in his crib on November 18th without any warning. Nothing has felt the same since he’s left to heaven, and we continue to grasp for hope and for answers and to live the rest of our days doing what we can to honor him and make him proud.

We will be gathering donations to this incredible foundation for our first anniversary of our sweet Eli becoming an angel and will be walking in his memory on November 19th.

We hope that one day not only will we have answers but we will be able to prevent these tragedies from ever happening again.
