It is hard to believe that it’s been over nine years since we last saw this magnificent smile and heard that sweet voice say “I wuv wu”, as he did every night when we laid him down to sleep. But we will never forget Jake, what he brought to our lives and the perpetual impact that he has on us and we hope, on many of you. You’ll recall from Jakey’s service that Father Xavier called upon us to live “The School of Jake” because peace and love were all that he knew and all that he exuded. We try our best to live that way to honor him and ourselves.

We also honor him by the work we do with the SUDC Foundation, a group of parents and professionals who are dedicated to increasing awareness of sudden unexpected deaths in childhood, funding crucial research into the causes and prevention of SUDC, and advocating for the needs of families affected by these tragedies. Eighty percent of its annual revenues are driven by fundraising so if you have the means to give, then please do, and if the timing is not right then please join us in living The School of Jake!
