Pathways to Healing: Grief Coping Skills Group

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again, but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.” – Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

What past participants have said about Pathways to Healing:

Participant One had to say: “..this has been the/one of the most beneficial events I’ve attended through the SUDC Foundation. I learned practical strategies for moving forward in grief and connected with other parents.”

Participant Two mentioned, “It was helpful to be guided through exercises and have feedback, while being validated and connecting with others.”

Participant Three loved that the workshop was: “(An opportunity) to share our stories and how to cope.”

What participants have learned in Pathways to Healing:

“Better able to communicate with others about my grief .”

“I felt the workbook was helpful for me to support myself and others going forward.”

“Challenged myself in new situations that I would typically avoid based on context from the workshop.”
