The long-term effects of grief can have a cumulative impact on an individual’s well-being, affecting their mental, emotional, and physical health. Our interactive and experiential 5-week workshop is designed to offer participants a safe and supportive environment to connect, share, and learn effective coping skills. Offered free of charge to any registered SUDC Foundation family member(s) that are greater than one (1) year out from their loss, this workshop will guide you through your grief journey with compassion and understanding.

Workshop Goals:

Why Attend?

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again, but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”

– Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Pioneer in the study of grief

What past participants have said about Pathways to Healing:

Participant Three loved that the workshop was: “(An opportunity) to share our stories and how to cope.”
